West Coast Conference’s enviromental sub-Logo

The West Coast Conference is a NCAA college athletics conference consisting of eight universities from California up to Washington state.

In 2009, they decided to get a little eco-savvy and began putting several changes into place. Since they are an entity that is typically wasteful in nature (sports require a lot of transportation, tons of reams of paper, electricity, events, et cetera), they figured by starting smart at home, they could make some major changes that affect our world.

Tasked with reducing electricity usage to using corn-based and degradable plastic cups at events, the WCC Green Team was born. This is a gently modified form of their main branding.
